Why We Are Building LaEi
Over the last decade, global monolithic marketplaces have centralized European online shopping. In doing so, they have squeezed local merchants with compounding seller fees, commoditized unique products, and placed algorithmic barriers between brands and their buyers.
Meanwhile, regional merchants in Romania, Moldova, and across Europe often struggle with outdated technology stacks, complicated cross-border payment barriers, and disjointed shipping integrations.
