Right of Cancellation & Returns
In compliance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights
1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from a purchase contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right, you must notify the fulfilling merchant or LaEi support of your decision to withdraw from this contract through an unequivocal statement (e.g., via our Contact Form or email to support@laei.net).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right before the 14-day period has expired.
3. Effects of Withdrawal & Refunds
If you withdraw from this contract, the fulfilling merchant will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery offered).
Reimbursement will be executed without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which the merchant is informed about your decision to withdraw, or upon receipt of the returned merchandise. We carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for:
- The supply of goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized;
- The supply of goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (perishables);
- The supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- The supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with prior express consent.
